You re -read all the books “Queen of the Russian ironic detective” Daria Dontsova? Do not miss a single series “CSI: Crime’s place” and “federal judge”? Then a game with a long name James Patterson’s Women’s Murder Club a Darker Shade of Grey (let’s reduce the name to Jpwn) created specifically for you. If you are not the biggest detective lover, this review may not even read. He will be, as they say, past the box office.
Scandals, intrigues, investigations!
The plot tells about the mysterious murder of the cadet of the military campus. It looks nothing special, but having been at the crime scene, you understand: the matter is not easy. What it was? Suicide? Or pre -planned attempt? Only you have to answer these questions. It will also be necessary to deal with the problems of this campus along the way, as it turns out later that there are skeletons in the closet there too. As you can see, the tie does not shine with originality – typical for most modern detectives. We will only say that there will be some good plot turns further, but in general terms the game will proceed in the key to a banal serial investigation.
Jpwn based on two sources at once. Firstly, on the popular series of books of an American writer James Patterson (James Patterson) Women’s Murder Club. These books are still successful, and on April 27 of this year a new part should appear on the shelves. Secondly, on the television series of the same name from the American channel ABC, which, however, did not gain great love of critics and viewers, lasted only 13 episodes, and in May 2008 was safely forgotten.
The main characters at once are four pieces: Jill, lawyer;Claire, medical expert;Cindy, reporter;Lindsay, detective. These characters are to the impossibility of boring and flat, you can not expect any interesting actions from them, phrases … In truth, it is better not to expect anything from them at all. They just do their job, and entertain the player – no, dismiss. The first screensaver immediately makes you feel the dynamics. She is zero. The videos are something like Max Payne, only without voice acting and with a delay between the question and the answer of about 4-5 seconds. The dialogs themselves are template, and it is bored with reading them already in the tenth minute of the game.
Jpwn divided into several investigations. Within each you, you find out more and more details about the confusing business. Sometimes you need to talk with the suspects, sometimes collecting evidence, but most often you have to solve puzzles. There are quite a lot of them: there are good ones, there are completely unintelligible. The latter, alas, is much more. Sometimes it seems that developers naturally consider players morons. As an example, you can take a puzzle (if it can be called that at all) on a sports field. Your task is to find a ball with traces of blood. To find it, you need to run each of the balls into the corresponding gates (that is, basketball in the basket, football in the goal, etc.D.). And only when the ball, stained with blood, rolls out (by itself) on the field, you can take it as evidence. I do not know how many developers were pissing over such a move, but the result was just disgusting. And this is only the only example, in fact there are dozens of them! Here is a worse entertainment. The goal is to force some incomprehensible man to remember what he saw in the cemetery. For this you need a scientific poke method (!) sort flowers (!!) by graves, and only when each flower is in its place, the comrade will exclaim: “Oh, it seems, I remembered!»Ah, what a clever. Fortunately, if you want to know how it all ends, but you do not want to go through stupid tasks, a function of automatic completion is provided.
But do not rush, because sometimes really original, previously not encountered fun. Look at this screenshot:
Or, for example, the search for the desired video cassette. You have a date whose record needs https://ville-barentin.fr/wp-content/pgs/spicy-jackpots-casino-review-what-makes-it-stand-out.html to be viewed, but there is no number of the desired cassette. And since the dates are encrypted, you will have to find the key to the code ourselves. In addition, after each investigation, you need to go to the laboratory and conduct a chemical analysis of the found substances. This is really very entertaining, but, alas and ah, such tasks are rare to disgrace, and most of the time you have to either solve idiotic puzzles, or engage in Pixel-H, HaUnting’om. Moreover, the latter is realized in the most godless way. Every 20 minutes you are locked in some location and ordered to find a certain number of any objects (documents, evidence and the like). Finding them all is not easy (especially in dark rooms), and you have to do only one thing – poke throughout the screen, hoping to tear the bank and get on the suitable object. It is at indeci been doing this often, which is terribly tiring.
With technical performance in Jpwn Somehow completely sad. Graphics (even at a discount on what weighs a distribution of only 320 MB) looks poor. Just starting to play, you rejoice at a large number of details on the screen, but after at least one Pixel-Hunting’a session, this turns into a huge flaw. Music annoys no less stupid puzzles. Throughout the investigation, you will be haunted by the same monotonous melody, and soon there will be a desire to turn off the sound for good.
Jpwn Ideal for lovers of all sorts of detective troubles. She is transot and pleasing to a rather strong plot. However, numerous shortcomings are altered by advantages, so that the audience does not fall under the category of Sherlock Halls will simply pass by.
Pros: A good detective plot;A couple of curious mini-games.
Cons: boring dialogs;annoying music;terrible graphics;exhausting “Pixel-haunting”;The vast majority of the mini-game-delirium of the blue mare.
